About the Author
Maxine Wilson-Perry was born in Buffalo, New York, where she lives with her husband of eighteen years, Maury. They share their home with their two wonderful dogs and two wonderful cats. She earned a B.S. in Education. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and Western New York Romance Writers.
Story Inspiration
The Haunting of Dr. Andre C. Brass is a novel that was inspired by my love for reading stories of romance and my overwhelming love for animals,especially, my beloved dog, Blue. Although Blue is now resting in peace, he left me with a wonderful character to write about in this novel. I hope everyone who loves reading romance and love animals find this novel to be one of enjoyment.

Dr. Andre C. Brass has everything a man could want as far as success goes, but he doesn't have the only woman he ever loved, Lanassa. Lanassa is his one true love who has been plaguing his heart since the very first day he witnessed her beauty. She was worldly and not the kind of woman that a man would want to bring home to meet his mother. But she was the only woman Andre wanted and loved. Then one day Lanassa's sordid lifestyle intersects with Andre's life of hard work and honor. Everything he has worked so hard for is now in jeopardy, along with the haunting of his soul by Lanassa's evil spirit, which could cause Andre his life. Anna Jordan is the pretty, innocent nurse who has fallen in love with Dr. Brass during the time he remains under her care. Could Anna's love help Dr. Brass rid himself of Lanassa's evil spirit and show him what true love is all about. Or will Anna's love prove to the doctor that he belongs with Lanassa in the after life. Only Dr. Brass can decide which woman he'll give his heart too. Will he risk his very life to have his one true love?
